Box Stitch Crochet, what is it?! Well, you’ll be super surprised to know what stitch it really is, the corner to corner stitch! I have the opportunity to review this beautiful crochet book, Box Stitch Crochet by Corinne Freedman, and of course, offer a giveaway to you (open to US residents only) where you can receive a copy of Box Stitch Crochet.
I did receive a copy of this book in exchange for a review and to do a giveaway. Same DiNamics Crochet is a participant in affiliate advertising programs designed to provide a means for this site to earn advertising fees, at no extra cost to you, by advertising and linking to affiliate programs.
Corinne, of Crochet 4 My Butterfly, broke out of the box, so to speak, when she designed the incredibly gorgeous patterns in her new book, Box Stitch Crochet. I have never seen the corner to corner (C2C) stitch be used outside of a blanket or hat. I’m sure they are out there but all I tend to see are blankets or hats. It was refreshing and welcoming to see the box stitch used in a different manner.
Corinne set out to create designs that will mesmerize and entice you to pick up your hook and crochet! Because the box stitch is meant for more than just blankets. There are some astonishingly elegant shawls in this pattern that are more than just your normal triangle shawl. Yes, they may be similar in shape but the way the box stitch is used, leaves you wanting to make the pattern!
I’ve already seen several designs that I do want to try my hand at. And you know what… even though the box stitch is used in a seemingly complex way, that doesn’t intimidate me nor deter me from wanting to try! In fact, the designs encourage me to pick up my hook! Let me show you some of these fabulous designs in the book. Oh, don’t forget to enter the giveaway below! I just have a feeling that once you see these designs, you’re gonna want to enter for a chance to win your very own hard book copy!
This giveaway is open from October 6, 2017 (12am EST) – October 14, 2017, (12am EST)
It is open to US residents only.

That’s awesome! I’ve not done C2C either and I do want to give it a try soon.
Absolutely love your patterns my fingers will be crossed would so love to win this book
Thank you! Good luck!
C2C now looks interesting to me. I’ve never tried it myself because it looks so daunting. Now I’m itching to try and crochet something besides a blanket. Thanks so much!
Would love to have it
